E-STORE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders ship within 48 hours; except clothing/merch which typically ships in less than 5 business days after the order is placed. Shipping times vary between 5-10 business days depending on where the item(s) are shipping to.  PLEASE NOTE: We cannot control UPS or USPS. Once a package leaves our facility, we cannot influence the delivery; you would need to contact the shipping company to ask for modified delivery (hold for pickup etc) as the receiver.   This is true with all online vendors, once it ships, you have to 'pull' the change on your end, we cannot 'push' from ours once it leaves one of our facilities.

Can I make changes after my order has been placed?

We at The Hypothetical Medical Company, we try to move fast, so we can't guarantee that changes can be made after you've submitted your order. Please double check your order; as it is the best thing to do before you place it.  We realize mistakes do happen, if you do happen to make an error on your order, feel free to Contact us and we'll see what we can do.   PLEASE do so by forwarding your receipt to our email listed on the receipt.

How does sizing work?

We try stick to brands that run true to size for use on our shirt and merch designs. Even so, sizing can vary depending on the particular brand and style.  Each product includes a sizing chart to help you make the best decision for your gear. If you still have any questions, feel free to contact us before ordering.  

What is your return policy for non-clothing product sales?

Please see our full policy below, but we have a 14 day period to contact us for an RMA.   All items must be in new & resellable condition, and must not have been used or opened.  If it's a damaged or faulty item, please email us a picture or video of the issue along with the RMA request; and we would pay shipping.  If the item is not damaged or faulty, the buyer would pay shipping charges (we recommend using something that has tracking to ensure we get the item back, otherwise you would have to file a claim with shipping company to get your money back -- we can't do a return if we don't get the item(s) back!).

What is your return policy for clothing "H-Med Merch" & "Streamer Series"?

Any clothing items including shirts, hoodies, hats, masks, backpacks etc. as well as similar items found in our H-Med Merch & Streamer Series sections are non-returnable once processed.   We're a small company, we guarantee our quality but we just do not have the resources for allowing returns; especially with items that may be worn and get's into a bit of an icky situation when possibly returned shirts etc. are reshipped to other customers like some online retailers.   You'll NEVER get a returned shirt from us... but to guarantee that, we can't do returns on these items.  PLEASE, double check the sizing charts!   


Having said all the above, we pride ourselves on our unparalleled quality of our printed merch; that's why all orders go through a 3-Step quality check before it's shipped out.   BUT, if a damaged or mislabeled item accidentally sneaks through OR was damaged during a shipment (please take immediate photos BEFORE opening any damaged boxes); we take full responsibility and send a free replacement.  

What is your lost & unclaimed shipment policy?

We require an email with your order number, the tracking, and your full shipping address.  We first check the address shipped to on the order and the address it needed to go to.  IF the address was CORRECT If your package still hasn’t arrived, then we recommend getting in touch with your local post office to see if your order is there. You can also check in with your neighbors to ask if they might have seen your package.  But IF the address was INCORRECT The package should be sent back to us and we’ll update the shipping address and reship it for you; however, please note that you’d be responsible for the shipping costs, but we will quote the lowest reshipping costs before reshipping so you can let us know how you’d like to proceed.   


Lost shipments will be returned to our facilities.  Once we get it back, we will hold it for up to 14 days, we will attempt to contact you once to reship it back out to you before it is returned to inventory.  If you see a package is being RTS / Return To Sender, please email us your order number AND tracking number and we'll try to assist in re-routing it.  For re-routing and also once we contact you to reship an item; the buyer will be responsible for the additional shipping costs.  We will confirm the lowest costs to reship before doing so, so you will not be surprised with any costs.   


Since we are not the ones entering the address, nor do we know your full/correct address; we leave the responsibility on the buyer since that is the only party that can confirm the information is correct.  So, like most online vendors; we don't cover refunds due to carrier errors -- but you can contact the carrier for resolution and to request recovering costs.   So, PLEASE double check your address if you have an Apartment, Suite Number, etc. that would prevent delivery if accidentally omitted.

RETURN POLICY

Thank you for your purchase, we hope you are happy with the items from  The Hypothetical Medical Company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").  However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for store credit or an exchange.   Please see below for more information on our return policy.

RETURNS

All returns must be postmarked within (14) days of the purchase date.  All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with packaging and labels attached.  If returning a faulty or damaged item, we will require images of the item including but not limited to an overview showing the entire item, a close up of the damage, and additional images may be requested before a return is approved.

RETURN PROCESS

To return an item, please email customer service at JimmyD@HypotheticalMedical.biz to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).   After receiving an RMA, place the item with it's original packaging and include proof of your purchase (a printed email confirmation), and mail it to the address provided in your RMA Approval Email.  Please note, you will be responsible for return shipping charges, but a stipend to cover return shipping will be provided if an item is confirmed faulty.  We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange.  Please allow at least (14) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange.  We will notify you by email when your return or exchange has been processed.  A notification for an exchange may be in the format of a $0 cost new order for the exchange item.

EXCEPTIONS

For defective or damaged products, please contact us at the contact details to arrange a refund or exchange.

MULTIPLE PRODUCT ORDERS
For multiple product orders, we will make every attempt to ship all items contained in that order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge will be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.

SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping Time -- Most orders will ship the next business day, provided the product ordered is in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by this site or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.


TAXES
Our store will automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same state/province where Hypothetical Medical Company holds a presence. For orders shipped to other areas, you (the shopper) are solely responsible for any sales taxes and/or other taxes that may apply.


TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Hypothetical Medical Company shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Hypothetical Medical Company shall also have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Hypothetical Medical Company will issue a refund to your card in the amount of the incorrect price.
