Cecilia has the distinction of being our first host, a reporter, and a writer for H-Med.  In addition to being a social media Influencer; she is the founder of PACE Parents Advocating for Cannabis Education & Digital Smoke a Cannabis marketing agency.  In her own words:

I'm just a mom who believes weed is better than wine and Xanax. A mom striving to raise genuine and thoughtful little humans. Just a human who decided that the only path that mattered was the one she decided to create for herself. Constant rambler. Dreamer. Huge hippy.      Christine is a contributing writer for H-Med and is also a professional writer with over a decade of experience for a wide range of clients.  Christine completed her Bachelor's Degree in liberal studies at Excelsior College.  After college, Christine has worked as a content strategist & copywriter for agencies and brands in multiple industries from Healthcare & Complementary Medicine, to Digital Marketing, and even Renewable Energy.  She has a knack of shaping complex topics into easy-to-digest content that is engaging & informative.

At Carleton College, Dr. Williams studied math & physics and learned how scientists think. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.  At Berkeley and later at BGSU and the MITRE Corporation, he wrote research papers in topology, algebra, category theory, logic, automated deduction, information security, and the integrity of medical information systems.  Upon retiring, Jim became curious why his doctors thought medical marijuana could help with his prostate cancer.  Jim has written a book about his experience and research regarding his own condition.  This book grew out of his resulting curiosity.  

     We recommend his published book:  Cannabis Compounds for Medical Conditions: An Evidence Based Guide, which has been excerpted on H-Med.  For the book, Jim created a groundbreaking citation architecture which every citation, reference, & cited work has a linkable online presence!  The book is available on Amazon & the Kindle too! 

Sam is the creator of TotemToons and does animation and fx for our entertainment videos.  You can see some of his older flip-book animation here, as well as on his YouTube channel.

   Jim lives in the St. Louis area with his wife and daughter.  A salesman with Marketing & Business degrees; Jim has designed company marketing & sales content for two decades.  Jim was brought to the #CannabisIndustry through necessity. 
Jim's wife has Degenerative Disc Disease & Ehlers Danlos, a genetic hypermobility condition.  Between the two conditions, his wife has constant back pain & is prescribed opioids for maintenance.  Some of these meds are so strong; she takes another prescription just to protect her stomach.   While his wife is very responsible and has never abused opioids; they've both seen in news & in person the addiction opioids can cause.   It was this that brought him to his years researching the best "no-high" usage for pain, so that his wife can try to reduce dependence from opioids.  
In their spare time, both are huge hockey fans (#GoBlues!), enjoy camping, and spending time with family.  Their daughter is a gamer & held a high-level (Top 10 Ranked) competitive Overwatch ranking & will try Twitch streaming upon completing schooling.
